Amentum is seeking a Boiler Plant Mechanic/Operator for a government contract in Kings Bay, Georgia. You will tend boilers, chillers, and air compressors, perform complex repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and equipment specifications.

You will analyze boiler water chemistry, manage fuel requirements, and log operations. This role requires four years of boiler experience, safety training, and a valid driver’s license.

Competenze

• High school education or equivalent.
• Four (4) years experience in repair, operation, and overhaul of boiler plant and related equipment.
• Must understand chemical treatment of boilers and cooling towers.
• Knowledge of the use of general and specialized tools to perform necessary repair operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and components.

Mansioni

• Tend boilers to produce steam or high-temperature water and operate chillers and air compressors.
• Perform complex repairs and overhaul of central heating plants and related equipment.
• Conduct chemical analysis of boiler water and cooling towers; manage fuel requirements.
• Inspect and run preventive maintenance and safety checks per specs.
• Use hand and power tools and precision testing equipment to repair components.
• Assist government personnel during annual certification inspections.
