• Salary: $32.17/hr or $35.65/hr (with certification)

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Ashland as the Boiler Operator:

• Follow all safety rules and standard operational procedures
• Monitor and inspect equipment, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts registering various aspects of boiler operation
• Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of the boiler/powerhouse
• Attend and participate in daily crew meetings

• Boiler license is ideal for this position, or 3-5 years of related boiler experience - we are willing to offer training & certification to the ideal candidate
• Manufacturing experience and boiler operation experience with a consistent work history preferred
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3-5 years related experience required
• Must demonstrate a commitment to a safety-first attitude
• Consistently display positive behavior supporting the organization’s goals and objectives
• Must be mechanically inclined and understand mechanical principles
• This job involves bending, walking, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented culture
• Highly flexible with the ability to adapt to job demands, produce high-quality work, and be dependable to complete tasks. Must be a self-starter
• Effective communication skills and ability to participate in team meetings
