Qualifications

• Prior experience in kitchen operations or restaurant leadership.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen organization.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and consistent performance.
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead BOH operations during shifts with a focus on efficiency and safety.
• Maintain proper food presentation, portioning, and temperature standards.
• Coordinate kitchen flow to meet speed of service and throughput goals.
• Ensure accurate and timely food prep for front counter and drive-thru.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures for next shift.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A standards and procedures.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Oversee daily and weekly cleaning checklists.
• Lead, coach, and encourage BOH team members.
• Train team on food safety, equipment use, and efficiency techniques.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a culture of excellence.
• Provide real-time feedback and reinforce positive behaviors.
• Support onboarding and skill development of new hires.
• Communicate clearly with FOH and leadership for seamless operations.
• Address issues calmly under pressure and provide timely feedback.
• Report shift performance or concerns to leadership.
