Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Store Operations Specialist - Back of House to support merchandise movement from back-of-house to the salesfloor and maintain BOH routines. You will validate processes, generate insights, and help coordinate freight management and fixture inventory data with vendors and partners.

The role requires strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with experience in SOPs, Excel, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in store operations.
• 3+ years in retail process development a plus.
• Ability to drive change in stores at national scale retail.
• Proficiency in writing SOPs, training documents and communications.
• Track record of launching and driving adoption of process changes.
• Demonstrated problem solving, people management, and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with data presentation skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Own review and validation reporting for store-execution tasks and BOH routines.
• Develop subject matter expertise in BPOD, freight, item disposition, and markdowns.
• Lead exception management for deliveries and carton scanning issues.
• Conduct weekly store execution audits and share actionable insights.
• Support Product Operations and fixture-inventory data management and KPI reporting.
