Job summary

Chick-fil-A Shepherdstown Crossing in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks a hands-on BOH/Kitchen Manager who leads a fast-paced kitchen and a 30+ member team. You will ensure food safety, quality, and timely preparation while coaching staff and driving efficient operations.

The role reports to the BOH Director/Owner-Operator and involves scheduling, inventory, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and make quick decisions on a daily basis.
• Coaching, developing, and serving others.
• Experience leading teams and producing positive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead with the BOH Director and Owner/Operator on the leadership team.
• Maintain a work environment that promotes food safety and team safety.
• Ensure food quality is maintained to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Engage with team members and guests to create remarkable experiences.
• Schedule 30+ BOH team members weekly.
• Place product orders and maintain inventory.
• Hire, train and develop BOH team members and leaders to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and cleaning are completed as scheduled.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to set goals.
• Prepare fresh and great tasting food promptly.
• Be able to train on every BOH/kitchen operation.
• Hands-on in the kitchen as needed.
