Job summary

Allard Collision, part of Open Road Collision, seeks a Body Technician to perform quality repairs per manufacturer standards. You will work within a team to align frames, repair panels, and apply cosmetic work, using frame machines and shop tools safely.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to interpret repair data while delivering top-quality workmanship in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience.
• I-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferred.
• OEM certification and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes valued.
• Strong ability to interpret repair data and measurements.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders to industry standards.
• Communicate repair progress and requirements with team members.
• Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work.
• Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE properly.
• Conduct QC inspections upon completion of work.
• Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications.
• Adapt to a blueprint-style production model; may not disassemble vehicles personally.

Position Overview:

As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Allard Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Body Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements
• Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work
• Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work
• Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications
• Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—may not disassemble vehicles personally
