Qualifications

  • I-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferred.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret repair data.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles legally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to top-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders.
  • Complete welding and body panel repairs.
  • Conduct Quality Control inspections upon completion of work.
  • Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage.
  • Conduct Quality Control inspections upon completion of work.
  • Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications.
  • Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—may not disassemble vehicles personally.

As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Bill Knight Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Body Technician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements
  • Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work
  • Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work
  • Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications
  • Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—may not disassemble vehicles personally
