Job summary

Open Road Collision, part of the Open Road Collision group, is seeking a motivated Body Technician in Conroe, Texas to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with safety and quality. You will perform welding, frame/unibody alignment, cosmetic body work, and QC inspections, using frame machines and shop tools, while following PPE and safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of collision repair experience, I-CAR body repair and welding certification preferred, and a team-oriented

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience.
• I-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferred.
• OEM certification knowledge highly valued.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret repair data and measurements.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate vehicles legally.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements
• Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work
• Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work
• Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications
• Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—may not disassemble vehicles personally

Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Body Technician.
