Ready to move your career forward? As a Body Shop Technician with Penske, you'll perform diagnostic procedures and truck and trailer collision repairs. With supervision, you'll also handle major suspension, electrical, painting, and welding repairs. You'll use industry-leading technology and repair techniques to restore vehicles to high-quality condition.

Major Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of truck and trailer repair and maintenance, including cab/sheet metal repair, fiberglass repair, welding, frame straightening, suspension, electrical systems, and painting.
• Identify and order parts required for repairs.
• Perform truck collision repairs and identify warrantable repairs.
• Maintain safety and work area appearance.
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Work independently and efficiently.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of practical experience or equivalent education.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Specialized repair/refinish training for trucks and trailers.
• Proficiency with tools, welding, and paint equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies and regulations (DOT, OSHA).
• Reliable attendance.
• Willingness to travel and undergo background checks and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to move frequently, lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.
