Position Summary:

As a Body Shop Technician with Penske, you’ll perform diagnostic procedures and truck and trailer collision repairs, along with major suspension, electrical, painting, and welding repairs under supervision. You’ll use industry-leading technology and repair techniques to restore vehicles to high-quality condition.

Pay and Location:

Pay: $27.50/hour

Work Location: 2626 W Holly St. Phoenix, AZ 85009

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday; 1:30PM - 10:00PM

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of truck and trailer repair and maintenance, including collision repair, frame straightening, suspension, electrical, and painting.
• Identify parts needed for repairs and perform road tests when necessary.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• 6 years of practical experience or equivalent education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/technical training preferred
• Proficiency with tools, including welding and paint equipment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work safely following DOT and OSHA standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Willingness to travel and work at the specified location

Physical and Safety Requirements:

• Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, and bending
• Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions
• Good vision and hearing to navigate the work environment safely
• Must work safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety policies

Additional Information:

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires a safety-sensitive approach. Regular attendance and safety awareness are essential.
