Beltway Companies, the largest commercial truck dealership in Maryland, is hiring in Baltimore! Our state-of-the-art facilities and advanced diagnostic equipment support the latest in trucking technology, fostering an environment driven by innovation.

We have an immediate opening for a Body Shop Technician at our Baltimore, MD Body Shop. Our Body Shop Technicians are essential team members. Join us at the most modern truck paint and body shop in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area!

Our Baltimore Body Shop features a 60 ft. state-of-the-art AFC spray booth equipped with the latest technology. It can paint two trucks simultaneously in different colors, while filtering exhaust to meet EPA environmental standards. We perform light and heavy-duty repairs on road tractors, trailers, box trucks, school buses, RVs, vans, and utility bodies. We also specialize in vehicle refurbishment and modification, including corporate re-identification projects.

Position Overview:

• Perform tear down and diagnostics
• Work with the estimator to compile a complete parts list
• Repair damaged areas to meet or exceed industry standards
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus (preferred, not required)

Requirements:

We're seeking a motivated and skilled Body Shop Technician with a strong work ethic and a passion for quality craftsmanship. Ideal candidates will bring experience, a positive attitude, and a readiness to contribute from day one.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in automotive or medium/heavy-duty truck repair (on-the-job training available)
• Personal hand tools required (some shop tools provided)
• Must be a self-starter and team player, able to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience (not required):

• Experience with box truck or trailer repairs
• Familiarity with light mechanical work
• Background in medium and/or heavy-duty truck repairs
