Job summary

CarGuys Inc., located in Utah, is seeking an Automotive Body Shop Manager to lead the shop team and drive performance. The role focuses on achieving department goals, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality repairs in a busy dealership environment.

The ideal candidate will exhibit high energy, a positive attitude, and strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and departments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
• Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
• Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
