DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring for an Experienced Body Shop Estimator.

As a Body Shop Estimator, you will inspect and appraise customer vehicles to determine repair costs for damages billed as insurance claims or customer expenses. The role involves working directly with customers and insurance companies to ensure a seamless repair process and providing excellent customer service.

In This Role, You Will:

• Examine damage to customer vehicles to identify structural, body, mechanical, or interior damages.
• Estimate repair costs, including supplies, parts, and labor.
• Calculate customer payments, including deductibles for repaired items.
• Manage claim processes by obtaining estimates from insurance companies and reviewing them with insurance adjusters.
• Maintain customer reports by explaining estimates and vehicle return timelines.
• Ensure high-quality repairs and minimize rework.
• Conduct spot checks on completed jobs for quality assurance.
• Reconcile and prepare final invoices matching approved estimates.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years of automotive estimator experience.
• Knowledge of major insurance protocols and ability to upload estimates/images accordingly.
• Prior estimator experience preferred.
• Industry training such as I-Car certifications.
• Automotive certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening.
