Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Body Exterior Feasibility Engineer in Dearborn, MI to bridge Design and Release with Studio Engineering, defining engineering requirements and evaluating surface designs.

You will develop 2D/3D feasibility solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and address gaps between concept and engineering, supporting rear-end components and vehicle assemblies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Design and Release/Design Studio/Integration or related Body Exterior field.
• Strong CAD skills to develop sections and 3D solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Establish engineering hard points to guide Class A surface development through master section creation.
• Evaluate studio surface releases against engineering requirements with Design and Release Engineers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve discrepancies between studio surfaces and engineering requirements.
• Develop 2D feasibility sections and 3D CAD solutions to support studio surface development.
• Support vehicle rear-end feasibility engineering activities.
