The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, validating components, managing BOMs, and driving continuous improvements in quality, cost, and manufacturability.

Experience with CATIA/PLM tools and automotive release processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of automotive engineering/release/exterior systems development experience.
• Experience with CATIA, Teamcenter, 3DX, CAD modeling and PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and release exterior vehicle components (bumpers, grilles, battery trays, wheel arch liners, underbody systems).
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and program teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Support component testing, validation, durability reviews, and root cause analysis.
• Manage engineering documentation, BOMs, design changes, and release activities.
• Drive continuous improvements focused on quality, performance, cost reduction, and manufacturability.
• Support prototype builds, vehicle launches, and production implementation activities.
