Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Boat Business Assistant to provide clerical support for boat, motor, trailer or ATV purchases in the Boat Department. The role focuses on accurate paperwork, timely data entry in IDS, and maintaining customer deposits and closing activities.

You will assist in financing and insurance sales, manage MSOs and titles, answer calls, and keep the office stocked with essential supplies. A High School diploma and 21+ age requirement apply, with full-time benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in clerical or data entry preferred in marine/auto industries.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash and perform closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support customer service in boat department and sales processes.
• Assist in selling finance and insurance programs to increase dealer revenues.
• Conduct closings and fund activities; coordinate paperwork in IDS and deposits.
• Post deals in IDS within 24 hours of delivery.
• Maintain MSO processing and filing; ensure title paperwork is complete.
• Answer multi-line phones professionally.
• Maintain office supplies and title/registration paperwork.
• Complete and file all required title work; prepare check requests.
• Perform daily end-of-day cash reconciliation and banking tasks.
• All other duties as assigned.
