Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a logistics-focused professional to provide expert service to Principals, ensuring smooth vessel turnarounds and seamless boarding procedures.

You will manage vessel requirements, procure vendor services, and deliver safe, compliant operations across maritime standards while supporting 24/7 on-call commitments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Maritime Transportation preferred.
• Prior experience in marine agency field desired, but not required.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics service to our Principals to ensure the safe and smooth turnaround of all appointed vessels.
• Manage vessel requirements, procurement of relevant vendor services, and undertake vessel boarding as required.
• Deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations in compliance with maritime regulations and company standards.
• Assist Inchcape in the running and servicing of Inchcape’s 24‑hours‑a‑day, 7‑days‑a‑week on‑call services commitments to its Principals.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Maritime Transportation or related major in a public or accredited private academic institution preferred.
• Prior experience in marine agency field desired, but not required.
• Must possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Eligibility to work in the US.
• Agents are expected to travel around specific port/terminal locations and surrounding areas and must possess their own reliable transportation, a valid "non-expired" state drivers' license, and vehicle insurance coverage.
