Job summary

Inchcape Shipping Services is seeking an Operations Representative (Boarding Agent) to deliver logis­tics support for vessel turnarounds and to manage vendor services under the Operations Manager. This role requires independent work, strong prioritization, and adherence to maritime regulations.

You will interface with Principals, ensure safety and efficiency, and participate in on-call coverage. Ideal candidates have port operations knowledge, MS Office proficiency, and experience boarding

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of Port Operations and Port Agency services.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and prioritize tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to board vessels via gangway or ladder and handle ladders/ramps.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics services to Principals for vessel turnaround at the port.
• Procure vendor services and manage vessel requirements.
• Conduct vessel boarding as required and ensure safety/compliance.
• Support 24/7 on-call operations and on-site responsiveness.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager and ensure timely updates to customers.
