Salem Media Group seeks a Board Operator to maintain on-air quality for live shows and podcasts. You will learn to isolate audio for hosts, manage logs, and operate control boards across multiple stations in the market.
The role requires familiarity with broadcast systems, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and the ability to load and schedule content using WideOrbit. Strong communication and technical skills are essential.
Board Operatorsare responsible formaintainingthe quality of our on-air shows. This includes assisting with the production of live and recorded radio shows and podcasts,including isolating audio for show hosts,as well asmaintainingstation logs, operating the control boards, screenlistenerphone calls,and client relations.and operate remote broadcast equipment.
