Job summary

Salem Media Group Minneapolis is seeking a part-time Board Operator for our four-station cluster. You’ll produce live and recorded programs, deliver weather updates, record voice tracks, and operate the live broadcast boards with reliability.

This hands-on role offers flexible part-time hours (~10–15 per week), opportunities for production work and growth in a fast-paced radio environment, with on-site access to studio and production time.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows-based computer systems.
• College education preferred, but passion and skill matter more.
• Flexibility for overnight shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Produce live and recorded radio and video programs and podcasts.
• Deliver live on-air weather updates with confidence.
• Record voice tracks for other programming.
• Operate and engineer the live broadcast boards, keeping shows smooth and professional.
• Execute station formats to keep listeners engaged.
• Maintain accurate program logs, edit live spots, and handle production tasks.
