U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is seeking a senior Board Liaison to bridge the USGBC and GBCI boards. You will coordinate governance, manage complex, multi-entity initiatives, and support CEO evaluation processes with HR.

This role requires discretion, strategic insight, and excellent stakeholder management. Hybrid work from our Washington, D.C. office is required, with a focus on high-stakes governance and board effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a board of directors or executive leadership committee.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑work stream initiatives across affiliated entities.
• Strong written and verbal communication for board audiences.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate two-entity governance with USGBC and GBCI boards and executive teams.
• Shape board agendas, track progress, and communicate updates to Chairs and CEO.
• Synthesize input from management and external sources to inform fiduciary oversight.
• Coordinate CEO evaluation processes with HR within defined frameworks.
• Provide administrative support including communications, scheduling, and logistics.
