Job summary

St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon – Microsurgeon to join the CommonSpirit Cancer Center. The role focuses on complex breast and microsurgical reconstruction within a collaborative cancer care team.

Board-certified or eligible surgeon with fellowship training in microsurgery will lead advanced procedures, contribute to patient-centered care, and participate in ongoing professional development in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery completed.
• Fellowship training in microsurgery completed.
• Board certification or eligibility by ABPS.
• Active or eligible license in Colorado.
• Strong interest in breast and microsurgical reconstruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, team-based environment.
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
• Physical requirements: Medium work.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced breast reconstruction, including DIEP flap and implant-based procedures.
• Execute complex microsurgical reconstructions and limb salvage surgeries.
• Provide high-quality aesthetic surgery services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cancer care team (oncology, breast surgery, radiation oncology, orthopedics, neurosurgery).
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation per hospital policies.
• Engage in professional development and keep up with latest surgical techniques.
• Participate in administrative and quality improvement initiatives.
