Job summary

Novant Health Plastic Surgery Autumn Hall in coastal Wilmington, NC, seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a strong microsurgery interest to join a collaborative team. The role includes breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and complex reconstructive procedures.

The practice is supported by APPs and residents, with involvement in limb salvage and evolving ED call. Competitive compensation, relocation allowances, CME, and Epic EHR are provided.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with microsurgery experience.
• Interest in breast reconstruction and cosmetic surgery.
• Experience in microvascular reconstruction and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to participate in evolving ED call schedule.
• No facial trauma or hand-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad scope of plastic and reconstructive surgery including facial aesthetic procedures and Mohs reconstruction.
• Perform breast and body procedures with implant and autologous options; oncoplastic techniques.
• Contribute to limb salvage and complex reconstructive care in a trauma setting.
• Collaborate with APPs and residents to deliver patient-centered care.
• Participate in program development and continuous improvement.
