Responsibilities

  • Develop behavioral assessment and treatment protocols under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services and psychiatrist.
  • Collaborate as a multi-disciplinary team to address patient needs and discharge planning.
  • Perform formal behavioral analysis procedures for selected target behaviors.
  • Coordinate behavioral assessment and treatment protocols for all patients.
  • Model and teach behavioral plans to staff/families/caregivers/outpatient teams.
  • Provide supervision to registered behavior technicians (RBTs).
  • Prepare and maintain data collection sheets, graphs, and data analysis for patients.
  • Timely documentation of services provided.
  • Facilitate family/caregiver training sessions and scheduling.

Shift: Full-time 40 hours per week

Schedule: 8AM - 4:30pm Monday - Friday; 1 weekend day a month

Summary:

Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our compassionate team of healthcare professionals.

The Behavior Analyst will serve the Specialized Needs Unit by assuming responsibility for supporting the behavioral team in development of behavior plans, behavioral analysis of selected target behaviors, education of staff in plan procedures, and supporting the family/caregiver behavioral training program, as well as having primary responsibility for the integrity of all behavioral data needed for patient care.

The primary focus is enhancing the delivery of effective and measurable behavioral treatment to patients and maintaining and improving clinical data feedback loops between direct care staff and the clinical staff. Secondary focus is generalization of behavioral treatment to families and other caregivers. Data collection forms, procedures, monitoring and analysis are the sole responsibility of this position, with appropriate back up personnel for scheduled absences. The position may delegate certain data entry functions as needed, but remains responsible for the integrity of all program behavioral data.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of behavioral assessment and behavioral treatment protocols under guidance of Director of Clinical Services and psychiatrist.
  • Participates collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to work on concerns or barriers to the patients functioning, needs, and discharge plan
  • Perform formal behavioral analysis procedures for selected target behaviors
  • Coordinate behavioral assessment and treatment protocols for all patients
  • Model and teach behavioral plans to Staff/Families/Caregivers/Outpatient Teams
  • Provide required supervision to registered behavior technicians (RBTs)
  • Prepare and maintain data collection sheets, other clinical data forms, graphing, and data analysis for patients
  • Timely documentation of service provided.
  • Facilitate family/caregiver training program including scheduling sessions, training families/caregivers, and facilitating effective training of family/caregivers by others
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.
  • Must display strong interpersonal, planning, forecasting, analytical skills and maturity required to work in the hospital environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt to constant change and a fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Current CPR and CPI certification (or obtained within 30 days upon hire).

Experience:
