CSAAC's Community School of Maryland is seeking a BCBA to provide educational support by developing behavior management and instructional programming for day and residential students. The role includes creating systems for program delivery and monitoring outcomes.
The BCBA will coach teachers, coordinate data collection, assist in intake and goal development, and ensure compliance with COMAR, Autism Waiver, DDA and DHR standards. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.
Reports to the Director of Education, the BCBA at CSM is responsible for providing educational support services by developing behavior management plans and providing behavioral consultation for day and residential students at the CSAAC Community School of Maryland (CSM). This position includes development of systems for implementing programming, including behavior supports programming, instructional programming, and modifying those systems when necessary.
Education:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) License is required, with expert
Knowledge in the field of autism.
Minimum of five (5) years experience providing services as BCBA and designing behavior management plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational and coordinative ability. Must possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise patience, caring and concern in new and sometimes stressful situations. Computer literacy required, with a proficiency in standard business software applications (i.e., word processing, e-mail and spreadsheets).
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) License by the Maryland Board of Examiners.
