Job summary

Shining Steps ABA in Lenexa, KS seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead individualized ABA programs, supervise RBTs, and collaborate with families and school teams. You will uphold ethical standards and contribute to a growth‑driven culture.

You will conduct assessments such as VB-MAPP and ABLLS‑R and drive data‑driven progress while mentoring staff and promoting professional development within the team.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, education, or related field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation and uphold professional standards.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and functional behavior assessments.
• Supervise and mentor RBTs, providing hands‑on training and support.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and school teams to ensure holistic care.
• Ensure all programming and documentation meet ethical, clinical, and compliance standards.
• Monitor client progress and lead clinical team meetings.
