Job summary

Onward Education is seeking multiple Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for the 2026–2027 school year in Middlesex County, MA. The role involves delivering behavioral support and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective behavior strategies across academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.

Responsibilities include FBAs/BIPs, data collection and analysis, IEP participation, and staff coaching.

Qualifications

  • Current BCBA certification required.
  • Master's degree in ABA, psychology, special education or related field.
  • Massachusetts LABA license or eligibility required.
  • School-based BCBA experience preferred.
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP implementation, and behavioral intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs for students.
  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, teachers, and staff.
  • Collect, analyze and interpret behavioral data to monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, administrators and families.
  • Coaching and training teachers and staff on behavior management and data collection.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring evidence-based interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
  • Support positive behavior supports and data-driven decision-making.

We're partnering with school districts in Middlesex County, Massachusetts to hire multiple Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for the 2026–2027 school year.

In this role, you will provide behavioral support and consultation services to students while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective behavior strategies that promote student success across academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.

Position Details
  • Location: Onsite in Middlesex County, MA
  • Openings: Multiple
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
  • Weekly Hours: 32.5 hours per week
  • School Year: 2026–2027
Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, teachers, and staff.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor student progress and guide intervention decisions.
  • Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff on behavior management strategies and data collection practices.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal special education requirements.
  • Support the implementation of positive behavior supports and data-driven decision-making practices throughout the school environment.
Qualifications
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
  • Massachusetts Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) license, or eligibility for Massachusetts licensure
  • School-based BCBA experience preferred
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP implementation, special education compliance, and behavioral intervention strategies
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills
