Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a BCBA to lead behavior support initiatives across homes, schools, and communities in Eastern North Carolina. The role involves supervising staff, conducting assessments, and developing Positive Behavior Support Plans while traveling regionally to EMPOWER sites.

Qualifications

• Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC is required.
• 1+ years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism preferred.
• 1+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity preferred.
• Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and time management skills.

Salary: $$80,000 (DOE) + Full Benefits + Professional Development Support

Schedule: Flexible M-F | Regional Travel to our New Bern EMPOWER location

This role includes a variable regional travel requirement to other EMPOWER sites, depending on program needs. All work-related travel is reimbursed via mileage pay. You'll have flexibility to plan travel around program needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Lead behavior support programs fostering family engagement & measurable growth.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensure: Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC
• Experience:
• 1+ years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism (preferred)
• 1+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity (preferred)
• Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and time management skills
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and unrestricted driving privileges
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & EMR systems
• Ability to work effectively with participants, families, and teams in homes, schools, and community settings
