Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Lead BCBA in Goldsboro, NC to oversee assessment, treatment planning, supervision, and clinical oversight for RB-BHT services for children. You will influence ABA program success through leadership, mentorship, and quality initiatives.

You will mentor RBTs, develop workflows, ensure BACB and NC Medicaid compliance, and collaborate with Speech, OT, Developmental, and Mental Health professionals to deliver ethical, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification.
  • Current NC Behavior Analyst License or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Eligible to enroll and maintain active NC Medicaid provider status.
  • Minimum one year of ABA experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Lead BCBA will serve as the Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) and provide assessment, treatment planning, supervision, and clinical oversight for children receiving Research-Based Behavioral Health Treatment (RB-BHT) services. Beyond providing exceptional clinical care, this role offers the opportunity to influence the success of our ABA program through leadership, mentorship, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.



What You\'ll Do

Clinical Services


  • Conduct behavioral assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)

  • Develop individualized ABA treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

  • Determine medical necessity for ABA services

  • Monitor client progress using objective, data-driven decision making

  • Adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes

  • Provide direct ABA services when clinically appropriate

  • Maintain high standards of ethical and evidence-based practice


Leadership & Program Development

As a Lead BCBA, you will play a vital role by:



  • Creating treatment and supervision workflows

  • Mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

  • Supporting future program growth

  • Promoting a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement


Supervision


  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in accordance with BACB standards and North Carolina Medicaid requirements

  • Complete competency assessments and performance evaluations

  • Provide ongoing coaching and clinical mentorship

  • Ensure quality service delivery across all cases


Family & Community Collaboration


  • Provide parent training and caregiver education

  • Collaborate with physicians, schools, and community providers

  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning alongside Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Developmental Therapy, and Mental Health professionals

  • Build meaningful, trusting relationships with children and families


Documentation & Compliance


  • Complete evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and clinical documentation accurately and on time

  • Participate in insurance authorization and reauthorization processes

  • Maintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code, NC Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policies, and payer requirements

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program evaluation


Qualifications

Required



  • Master\'s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

  • Current North Carolina Behavior Analyst License or ability to obtain prior to employment

  • Previous leadership, clinical supervision, or program development experience
