Job summary

BMW of Riverside is seeking a motivated BMW Genius to inform customers about vehicle specifications and features, perform needs analysis, and guide test drives. You will maintain up-to-date product knowledge and support Sales Consultants to drive sales while building lasting customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and a self-motivated, energetic attitude. A professional appearance and willingness to prospect are required.

Responsibilities

• Inform customers about BMW products and features.

Overview

TheBMW Geniusis extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories. He or she presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale and maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, previous sales experience (in any industry preferred), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Informing customers on product specifications of all BMW products and features.
• Conducting the need analysis together with the customer.
• Managing the test drive process.
• Keeping the product knowledge within the dealership at high level.
• Supporting the Sales Consultants during the sales process.
• Being the main point of contact for the customer to answer any questions about products including usage and/or functions.
• Maintain an owner follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits to the customer.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
• Other Duties as requested.

• Must have a valid California driver's license with no restrictions.

• Experience representing a luxury/prestige brand OR product/marketing is a preferred but not mandatory.
