Job summary

UF Health Shands in Gainesville, FL, is hiring a Bone Marrow Transplant Data Management Analyst to support BMT data management, regulatory reporting, and quality improvement initiatives. This onsite role partners with physicians, transplant coordinators, and lab staff to ensure data integrity and compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of data management experience, with preference for oncology/BMT data experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of two years of data management experience.
• Experience providing information systems support.
• Knowledge of information systems, data storage, data analysis, and performance improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Abstracts and documents critical BMT data from EMR and external facilities.
• Completes and submits transplant data to CIBMTR.
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of reported BMT data per standards.
• Supports audits, research queries, and accreditation reviews.
• Contributes to system and process improvements for quality and operations.
• Manages multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Collaborates with physicians, transplant coordinators, lab staff, and trials teams.
