Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL seeks a Clinical Pharmacist BMT to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for the Bone Marrow Transplant clinic, coordinating anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating therapies with the interdisciplinary team.

You will participate in multi-disciplinary rounds, develop protocols, educate learners, monitor immunosuppression, reconciliation, drug interactions, and transitions of care, while supporting quality projects and pharmacotherapy

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed or eligible for licensure.
• ACLS or BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 5 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for the BMT clinic.
• Coordinate anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating therapies with the care team.
• Educate patients on chemotherapy and supportive care regimens.
• Participate in protocol and order set development.
• Assist in education and training of students and residents.
• Support immunosuppression monitoring, medication reconciliation, and transitions of care.
