Job summary

Township of Union Public Schools seeks a Title I After School Coordinator for Burnet Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role oversees ELA & Math intervention after-school programs, reports to the Director of Instruction & Funded Programs, and coordinates hiring and scheduling for staff involved in the program.

Qualified candidates hold NJ Principal Certification, with knowledge of student learning standards and prior Title I coordination experience. Internal candidates only apply.

Qualifications

• Staff member at Burnet MS during the day; demonstrated experience as Title I Coordinator.
• Experience coordinating Title I programs and required reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and organize all aspects of the Title I ELA & Math Intervention After School Program(s).
• Interview and recommend hiring of personnel for the program.
• Prepare and submit reports, records, timesheets and data as required by district and NJDOE.
• Develop the after-school enrichment/intervention schedule and oversee the program.
• Any additional duties assigned by the Director of Instruction & Funded Programs.

The Township of Union Public Schools is seeking dedicated, knowledgeable, and qualified Title I After School Coordinator

REQUIRED

• Appropriate NJ Principal Certification Required
• Knowledge and understanding of student learning standards
• Staff member at Burnet MS during the day/Previous demonstrated experience as a Title I Coordinator

DUTIES

• Plan, schedule and organize all aspects of the Title I ELA & Math Intervention After School Program(s).
• Interview and make recommendations to the Principal & Director of Instruction & Funded Programs concerning hiring of personnel for the program.
• Prepare and submit all reports, records, timesheets and other data as required by the district and the NJDOE.
• Develop the after-school enrichment/intervention schedule of activities and oversee the respective after school program.
• Any additional duties assigned by the Director of Instruction & Funded Programs.

Dates: November 9, 2026-April 30, 2027 (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 2:45-3:45 pm/1 hour immediately after school)

Rate of Pay: $55 per hour (Not to exceed $5115) *20 minutes paid after each session
