Job summary

The Township of Union Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Title I After School Program Teacher for the Knight Test Prep program serving grades 2-5. The role runs January 12, 2027 through April 15, 2027, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm, with a pay rate of $46 per hour (not to exceed $1840, including training).

Qualifications include appropriate NJ Certification and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage students in ELA & Math enrichment/intervention
• Identify, select and modify tutorial resources to enrich student learning
• Administer pre and post assessments in ELA & Math and provide targeted intervention
• Support classroom instruction through progress monitoring and data-driven decisions
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student outcomes
• Maintain attendance, lesson documentation and Title I data
