Job summary

Raahi MotoCorp in Delhi Township is seeking a BMS System Engineer to join their R&D team. The role involves the development, testing, and validation of the Battery Management System (BMS), including the creation of State Estimation Algorithms and optimization of existing systems. Candidates should possess a BE/BTech in relevant fields with 1-2 years of experience in electric vehicle technology.

This is a full-time on-site position focusing on enhancing BMS performance through rigorous R&D and operational processes.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hands-on experience in design and validation of BMS or in an electric vehicle company.
• Experience in testing of lithium-ion cell as well as battery pack.
• Knowledge of classical control systems and non-linear control theory.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development and testing of the BMS.
• Involved in supply chain development and homologation activities.
• Focus on optimization of the present BMS algorithm to improve performance.

Skills

BE/BTech in EEE, ECE, Mechanical or related fields

1-2 years experience in BMS design and validation

Experience in root cause analysis, DFMEA, and PFMEA

Knowledge of Li-ion chemistries

Strong communication skills in English

As a part of the Raahi MotoCorp R&D team, the BMS System Engineer will be responsible for the development as well as testing and validation of the BMS. Moreover, he/she will be involved in the development of BMS State Estimation Algorithm – SOC, SOH etc and cell balancing as well as focusing on optimization of the present BMS algorithm to improve performance. Apart from the research and development, he/she will be responsible in the operation activities such as interaction/development of the supply chain of the BMS, homologation activities, and the production process optimization to enhance the efficiency.

This position is based (New Delhi) – On-site.

• BE/BTech or higher studies in EEE, ECE, Mechanical or related fields.

• Experience in root cause analysis, DFMEA and PFMEA of battery pack components

• Sound knowledge on different Li-ion chemistry


• Knowledge of classical control system and non-linear control theory

• Knowledge of 2-wheeler homologation activity (Optional)


• Strong communication as well as writing skills in English
