Job summary

CBRE seeks a Software Engineer specializing in Master Systems Integration to design and implement building management system integrations, create control databases, and develop user interfaces in line with project specs and proposals.

You will provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers, perform field startup and commissioning, and ensure systems operate per design documentation. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering; 5–8 years of relevant experience.
Ability to analyze complex problems and apply technical judgment and precedents.
Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Core knowledge in at least four of: Building Management Systems, Niagara, DistechControls, BACnet/Modbus, HVAC Controls, IT Networking, Commissioning, Troubleshooting.
Willingness to travel up to 50% (overnight trips up to a week).

Responsibilities

Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations, and panel layouts.
Program control applications using various software tools.
Conduct job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
Verify operation per project specs, sales proposal, and design documents.
Develop system graphics displays per specifications or sales proposals.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Lead system evaluation, diagnostics, and problem isolation; report findings to the project team.
