Job summary

Mantis Innovation is hiring a BMS Service Project Manager to lead daily service operations and projects for building automation across data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will manage a team of technicians, coordinate deployment, and ensure safe, efficient service with strong customer communication.

This role requires 50%+ overnight travel nationwide and collaboration with construction management on project planning and prioritization.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of BMS, BAS, HVAC controls, or building automation experience.
• 1–3 years leading technicians, crews, or field service operations.
• Experience creating and upholding Method of Procedures (MOPs) to manage projects.
• Experience coordinating service projects, work orders, schedules, and field resources.
• Advanced troubleshooting capability across controls systems, networks, and integrations.
• Experience working in data centers, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of BMS Service Technicians across projects and sites.
• Coordinate scheduling, dispatch, and resources to support commitments.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and per standards.
• Support project execution, repairs, commissioning, upgrades, and corrective actions.
• Track milestones, labor, and completion status.
• Escalate resource constraints and risks to management.
• Serve as technical escalation for complex controls issues.
• Review root-cause analyses and ensure accurate records.
