Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Deputy Engineering Leader to provide hands-on technical leadership for Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) projects in mission-critical environments such as data centers, military installations, and hospitals.

You will lead engineering execution, review designs, mentor engineers and technicians, and coordinate workloads to deliver scalable, reliable controls solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading BMS and EMCS projects in mission-critical environments.
• Ability to review designs, mentor engineers and field technicians.
• Expertise in HVAC, mechanical and integrated power systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution for BMS and EMCS projects.
• Design and review controls systems, controller programming, and sequences of operation.
• Provide technical expertise related to HVAC, mechanical, and integrated power systems.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure designs align with project scopes and requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and field technicians.
• Coordinate engineering workloads and support team development.
• Manage and support a small engineering team.
• Partner with project managers and stakeholders to ensure quality, reliability, and project success.
• Support mission-critical environments such as data centers, military installations, and hospitals.
