Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Engineering Leader (BMS and EMCS) to guide a small team of controls engineers and field technicians on mission-critical facilities.

You will oversee requirements analysis, system architecture, design, implementation, and commissioning, ensuring workloads and schedules align with project goals. You will apply strong BMS expertise across platforms like Niagara, Desigo, and EcoStruxure, review sequences, alarms, and graphics, and mentor staff while maintaining

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of recent experience in the construction industry with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Minimum 3+ years of experience with a Master's Degree in Engineering.
Ability to lead and mentor engineers and coordinate project delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership for a small team of BMS controls engineers and field technicians.
Coordinate engineering and field resources across multiple projects, including workload planning and scheduling.
Mentor engineers and technicians, supporting skill development and career progression.
Lead design reviews, project gate checks, and commissioning activities.
Ensure safety requirements are understood and followed by the team.
