Job summary

Siemens Energy in Gibsonton, Florida is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Technician for the 1st shift (6am–2pm) to measure cores with Blue Light equipment, inspect parts, and learn production processes. You’ll join the Gas Services team at the Central unit on-site.

You’ll participate in training, follow work instructions, record dimensions and defects, and contribute to process improvements while building foundational machining and quality control skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and ability to perform basic math with metric units.
• Ability to read engineering instructions and learn blue light equipment software.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Export control licensing may be required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Measure Cores with Blue Light equipment to ensure dimensional acceptance.
• Participate in training and cross-training in production areas.
• Follow work instructions to inspect and produce high-quality parts at the Gibsonton, FL site.
• Record defects, update daily paperwork, and maintain tools and equipment.
