Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a Foreperson to supervise assigned blown film production lines. You will ensure starts of lines, monitor quality, and enforce safety, housekeeping, and discipline standards. You will train packers on quality checks and lead line changeovers with a focus on efficiency.

The role requires knowledge of blown film processes, troubleshooting, and operation of extrusion, bag machines, and winders. Heavy lifting and twelve-hour shifts may be required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of blown film-manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Valid Amcor forklift license is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Review production orders during start-up, run, and shutdown of equipment.
• Supervise all processes, equipment, and packers on assigned lines.
• Meet production, quality, and quantity standards.
• Ensure proper setup and quality checks are performed.
• Organize work for smooth operations and train packers on quality checks.
