Amcor located in Pennsylvania is seeking a Foreperson to supervise assigned industrial production lines in a fast-paced blown film environment. You will oversee start-ups, run, and shutdowns, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency across the line.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, ability to manage packers, and a valid Amcor forklift license. Candidates must be proficient in English and ready for twelve-hour shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma, equivalent, or two years of blown film-manufacturing experience.
• Good mechanical background a plus.
• Have valid Amcor forklift license.
• Language skills: able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Proficiency in basic math for yield and density calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Direct supervision of assigned industrial production lines.
• Review production orders during start-up, run, and shutdown of equipment.
• Ensure safety, quality, quantity, housekeeping and disciplinary standards are met.
• Train packers on quality checks and process procedures.
• Troubleshoot extrusion, bag machines and winders to resolve issues.
• Coordinate material readiness and order changes for new runs.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices on the production floor.
