Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Blow Mold Operator to set up, operate and monitor extrusion blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products. You will handle mold and material changeovers, adjust processes for quality targets, and inspect finished parts with gauges and tools on a fast-paced line.

Responsibilities include loading materials, recording production data, performing light maintenance, and collaborating with teams to maximize efficiency while ensuring OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating blow molding or plastic manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience with extrusion blow molding equipment highly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality products.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow production schedules.

• Monitor machine performance and make process adjustments to maintain quality and production targets
• Inspect finished products using gauges, measuring tools, and visual quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor machine, process, and material issues and elevate larger repairs to maintenance when necessary
• Load raw materials and ensure proper resin handling procedures are followed
• Complete production documentation, quality checks, and downtime reporting accurately
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience operating blow molding, injection molding, or other plastic manufacturing equipment preferred
• Experience with extrusion blow molding equipment is highly preferred
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and quality documentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout a 10-12 hour shift
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as production demands require
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
