Job summary

Garelick Farms, a division of Dairy Farmers of America, seeks a Blow Mold Operator for 3rd shift to run plastic blow molding machines and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality container production. You will help monitor lines, troubleshoot equipment, and document processes.

The role requires teamwork, clear communication, and a strong quality mindset. Competitive pay includes a $1.50/hr shift differential and a $1,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Qualifications

3rd Shift Monday thru Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Sign on Bonus of $1,500 for External Candidates

Rate $20.00/hr. + $1.50/hr. Shift Difference (2nd and 3rd Shift)

GENERAL PURPOSE

Operate plastic blow molding machines to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner according to established company policies and procedures.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
  • Operate bagger and debagger stations.
  • Troubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blow mold equipment.
  • Train others on blow Mold operations.
  • Maintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency.
  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s.
  • Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
  • Utilize a continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
