Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Blow Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, operate, and monitor extrusion blow molding equipment to produce high-quality plastic products on 1st or 2nd shift.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read instructions, and willingness to work overtime. Safety and accuracy in documentation are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating blow molding or plastic manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
  • Read work instructions and quality documentation.
  • Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor blow molding machines.
  • Perform mold, color, and material changeovers to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust processes for quality/targets.
  • Inspect finished products using gauges and visual standards.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine/process issues and escalate larger repairs.
  • Load raw materials and ensure proper resin handling procedures.
  • Complete production documentation, quality checks, and downtime reporting.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment following OSHA procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to maximize efficiency.

Salary: $20 - $25 per hour

Job Details
  • Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products
  • Perform mold, color, and material changeovers while minimizing downtime
  • Monitor machine performance and make process adjustments to maintain quality and production targets
  • Inspect finished products using gauges, measuring tools, and visual quality standards
  • Troubleshoot minor machine, process, and material issues and elevate larger repairs to maintenance when necessary
  • Load raw materials and ensure proper resin handling procedures are followed
  • Complete production documentation, quality checks, and downtime reporting accurately
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience operating blow molding, injection molding, or other plastic manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Experience with extrusion blow molding equipment is highly preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
  • Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and quality documentation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout a 10-12 hour shift
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as production demands require
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
