Job summary

Blood Assurance is seeking a full-time Product Technician to work in our downtown Chattanooga lab on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and occasional holidays. The position includes a $3/hr shift premium and requires the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Job duties include taking hospital orders by phone, packing blood and products for distribution, notifying the courier when shipments are ready, receiving components, and manufacturing blood products per SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and accurate in handling blood products.
• Experience in customer service or hospital orders is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone to take orders from area hospitals.
• Packing blood and blood products for distribution per SOPs.
• Notifying courier when shipment is ready for pickup.
• Receiving blood components from multiple locations.
• Manufacturing blood and blood components according to SOPs.
