Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a part-time Distribution Technician to manage the labeling, storage, and distribution of whole blood and blood components in alignment with SOPs. The role may involve manufacturing and transportation duties for related biologics.

The position schedules 7:00 PM–12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with training sessions 8:00 AM–4:30 PM for 2–3 weeks at Orlando or St. Petersburg. A shift differential of $1.50–$4.50 per hour may apply depending on hours worked.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and proficient computer skills.
• Prior customer service, laboratory, blood bank manufacturing or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures suitability and accurate labeling of products for release and distribution.
• Performs data entry associated with component production, labeling, storage and shipping ensuring accurate and complete manufacturing records.
• Manufactures, stores and distributes blood and blood products.
• Operates, maintains and performs quality control checks on equipment.
• Performs the quarantine and disposition of unacceptable products and/or samples and performs quality control on blood products.
• Ensures adequate inventory of required supplies.
• Provides customer service to internal and external customers and vendors.
• May operate a OneBlood courier vehicle when applicable.
