Job summary

Versiti is seeking a Blood Component Processor to prepare quality biological products according to SOPs. You will work second shift 3:30PM-12AM, with training on first shift.

Responsibilities include manufacturing RBCs, plasma products, and ensuring proper labeling and storage to meet regulatory standards. The role offers shift differentials for evenings and weekends and requires a high school diploma with related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than 1 year of related experience or training.
• Ability to read, interpret, and write operating forms and manuals.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures Red Blood Cells (RBCs), Fresh Frozen Plasma and Recovered Plasma.
• Performs leukoreduction of Whole Bloods and RBCs.
• Labels products to meet regulatory and inventory requirements.
• Maintains productivity to hit production goals.
• Works weekend, holiday rotations and on-call, as needed.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
