Job summary

American Red Cross in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Blood Product Storage and Distribution Technician to receive, pack, and ship blood products for hospital orders. You will triage orders by timing, ensure correct temperature control, and maintain traceable records.

Responsibilities include data entry, inventory management, and occasional hospital deliveries. A High School diploma and 2 years in regulatory or distribution environments are preferred; valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, pack and ship blood products for hospital orders.
• Triage order by date/time, select and pack products with correct temperature control.
• Communicate with hospital clients, volunteers and vendors; maintain product records.
• May make hospital deliveries as assigned.
