Zusammenfassung

The American Red Cross in Minnesota is hiring a Blood Storage & Distribution Technician for a full‑time, third‑shift on‑site role. You will receive, pack, and ship blood products to hospitals, ensuring correct temperature control and traceability.

You’ll triage orders by urgency, communicate with hospital staff, and maintain accurate records throughout the process. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years in a regulatory, distribution, or manufacturing setting;

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in a regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good computer skills, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision‑making skills.

Aufgaben

• Receive, process, pack and ship blood products/samples for hospital orders.
• Triage orders by date/time, select and pack products with correct temperature control.
• Communicate with hospital clients, volunteers and vendors; maintain product records for traceability.
• Perform inventory management and data entry; monitor quality and production requirements.
• May make hospital deliveries as assigned.
